Why Don't I Join Other People's Programs? Want The Answer, Read This!
4/6/2009 10:31:37 AM
Hi Everyone,

Many marketer's contact me weekly to join their programs and in most cases I turn them down, WHY?

You know that is a very good question and I am going to give the honest answer.

It is not because I don't want to, it is because in most cases, the marketer is not committed. I watch Adlandpro and all the other Social Networks very closely and see what programs are starting.

I check out the compensation plans to see if they are attainable not only by me but by the people I introduce them to. I watch to see what sells out there and what doesn't.

Recently, I was approached to join a Health and Nutrition company. This person hyped it like it was the only one on the Internet and that it cures cancer and other things.

Right there, that turned me off!

I am realistic folks, if that were true of that product, don't you think it would be in the hands of the medical profession and the developer would be up for a Noble Peace Prize or something.

The other thing I look at is their profile, what they are promoting. if they are promoting 10-15 different programs, they are not focused and all they want is some big hitter to come in and build their business. if that doesn't work, they leave and go on to something else after 30-60 days.

That is not how you build an Internet business. I have been doing this way to long to have the wool pulled over my eyes.

I look for programs that I know marketers can market and I know they can make a living from. I am a long term residual marketer.

I do not do cyclers as I have learned my lesson in the past from them. They only generate short term cash (if you're lucky).

I don't do gifting EVER (they are illegal). If you don't believe me, ask your local law enforcement agency. They are now cracking down on all gifting programs in Canada and prosecuting not only the owners but anyone participating. They are going as far as confiscating property, fines and jail time.

I have a reputation to uphold and cannot allow programs to jeopardize it.

Now, sometimes you join programs and for whatever reason, they shutdown or go broke whatever, that is always a risk but business is a risk.

There is no business, on or off the internet that can guarantee you long term wealth as they depend on the participation of the business owners to market and maintain them.

The reason most businesses on the Internet don't last is that marketers as a whole, don't commit. They expect a business to pay them in 30-60 days or it's a SCAM (man people love that word). They need to look up the definition.

So, now you have the honest truth from me. It's not that I don't want to join you, it's that you need to prove to me that you have done your homework on the program, product and comp plan, then show me you are committed.

At that point, you would have my attention.

I am successful on the Internet because I treat Network Marketing as my business. I put in a full 40 hour+ week at building my business so that in the near future, I can work a 10 hour week and get paid the same which allows for me to spend the quality time with family and enjoy the things in life we all dream about.

Hopefully I haven't bored you or even worse, turn you off Network Marketing but this is information you need to know to survive in this industry.

FOCUS, COMMIT and TEAM BUILD!

This will be your road to success,

Well written and good advice for anyone working on the net. It took me too long and too much money to realise that I was not focused enough on one business.
Now settled into two that I can commit to. No amount of offers will dissuade me from them. The fact they require less money to run does help. Better response rate.
It is a matter of numbers also. The more you reach the more chance you have.

Hi, how are you Carl? Sorry I am little late getting back with you. I understand where you coming from, but the one thing I disagree with you is that these doctors may know the cure of cancer and it has been withheld from people because they are killing them with these hazardous drugs that are no good for people’s condition. They don’t care as long they are getting paid!!! I read a regular basis review over the newsletter emails pertaining to diseases, meds, cures and remedies on WebMd, and Health News which gives everyone pertinent information on the different options to examine toward before accepting a doctor’s word or him recommending surgery later on. There is a cure for cancer. If they didn’t prescribe the drugs the Pharmacies will be out of business. Carl you have to put yourself in that person’s shoes, you apparently have gone through the same road like the others, maybe instead of joining them you can help by relaying what you know and I am not trying to be impolite on this statement. We all can be this way. Arrogant about not joining but give out your marketing strategies and tools to them so that you can make yourself worthy., I think we should get paid within that amount of time just like if we were working for a company with pay weekly or bi-weekly even faster which some internet businesses do but that is very rare. Every day pay should be given if we are entrepreneurs. We are putting out our time, and effort in creating, coaching, and money to avoid headaches in a regular job setting. So we deserve what our heart desires. I am not saying it will be easy. Why is it easy to work for others and not easy for ourselves? Man wants life to be difficult and shouldn’t have to be. You mentioned you worked 40-hr woooo, that is a 9-5 job that shouldn’t have to be. You are well-rounded person this shouldn’t have to be on your part. You may work only 10 hrs a week making over 30,000 a month by just signing up or not signing up but coaching people on prospering their business. Love Peace and Tranquility.
