It's weird all the things that happen when we step from the comfort zone.

That's a great job and great trip. I've frequently thought of doing that myself.

I've had a manic week. I discovered that my little article I wrote for the Forum newsletter was posted this month. I had forgotten how to access it (for info, if anyone wants to find it, go to the archived news top left on this page) .

I visited your forum and was impressed with all the new pictures there.

I went on the trip at very short notice and forgot to take my camera with me. BUT, I took tons of pics with one of the tourist's camera and she promised to send me a cd with all ofthem. I'll post them in your forum for sure.

Isn't it just amazing how being away from the internet for a few hours let alone a few days can cause withdrawal symptoms? :) Amazing.

We had some nasty weather here too for 2 days and that was the reason for the power failure. Lucky I was away while the techie was checking it out. The failure didn't do much damage to the computer but apparently "fried" my modem. :)

Yep, I sure will bring a note next time. I started to read the Mesh chat but had to start cleaning out my inboxes and will get back to it later. Saw that all of you were worried and I'm sorry for that.
