As we go about our day sending emails and promoting our products and services through email, the first thing anyone sees is our email ADDRESS.

There are two aspects of your email address that deserve your attention.

One... (and this may be the most important)...

How does your email address make YOU feel?

Does it represent who you ARE?  Does it tell a story about you?  Does it feel like you are putting your best foot forward?

For example, my email address is linda at "allowprosperity.com" - How do you think that makes me feel?

I chose "allow prosperity" because that is exactly what I am doing ... "allowing prosperity" to flow into my life.

Thank about how your email address makes you feel.

Two...

How do you think your email address appears to others?

When someone else receives an email from you, what do they see in the "from" field of their email program?

Do they see your actual email address or do they see your NAME?

What do you think is more attractive...

From:  bk42979x4yuo@aol.com

or...

From:  Linda Miller

See what I mean?

It is a simple matter in your email program to change the way your "from" address appears to others.  Check your Help feature if you need help.

I know you want to be the most attractive you can possibly be to anyone who receives an email from you.

Mine, its support@paythepeople.com I use it no matter what the issue or question is. My goal is to support my network in any way or shape possible. I take time to help anyone and everyone, without any conditions. Just to simply SUPPORT them in their current venture. Speaking from personal experience this is what i do. When someone emails me they get a auto-reply stating that I will contact them within 24 hours, and thank you. The emails always say they are from PayThePeople.com and Ronald Paul Corbin. You can do this in outlook, windows mail, etc... I also recommend using the "Read receipt" option. If you send allot of emails, this will ensure you know who read what and when. Great for follow ups. Went a little off topic, but your entire email structure can show how serious you are taking your networks needs. GREAT POST as always :)

Thanks for your reply!  One thing about the read receipt is I always so "no" when asked if I want to send a receipt to indicate I opened the email.

I can agree with you, I use it with people that I have important communications with, or someone I have been working with. Just so I know there were no errors in the transfer.
