Wow...I just for the first time saw the video you posted about the flying guys in the mountains. That's just incredible...& for me a bit nauseating, as one who's afraid of heights. I've always thought it would be neat to fly...if I could do it and not look down, maybe I could make it. In an airplane I'm okay, but it's totally different when I stand on top of a high building or at top of a mountain pass or something like that. I can look out over a valley or panaromic view, but the moment I look down toward the ground, I get this shaky frightened feeling. Weird maybe, but non the less...I know that donning a flying suit and jumping off the side of a mountain would just do me in I think!
Seriously, I think those folks doing that
are either really fearless, or as Myrna said in a post awhile back,
"stupid is as stupid does." But I admit, it is incredible.
Man has been trying to fly for years & in many different contraptions. Finally he's achieved this this quest.
I'm just browsing around & trying to view threads I've never seen tonight. That one was a good one.
