Hello Roger,

Do you know I have started a folder with your poetry?

I Like to Think So, Be True to Yourself, The Hotel, The Sands of Time, Clearly Artistic License.

From time to time I will be checking at this forum and adding new poems to it.

Would like to get rid of this compelling urge to study the future and instead read your poetry.

Blessings,

Miguel

Luis,

Your forums give me huge pleasure and for that reason perhaps it is written that we inspire each other from our compatible minds but differing directions.

I could never carry out your level of research or understanding of the universal spiritual matters but I benefit from your deep interest in the subject/s.

I hope that my poetry brings a positivity as, although on first look some may appear flippant or sad, most carry a message to lift ourselves above depression and negative thoughts of our personal past.

My latest poem was spurred by a need to tell members of a poetry community that strong emotion in poetry doesn't have to be about lost love and the blockage caused by it. I try to write "move on " poetry.

My huge respect goes to you my friend.

Roger

Yes Roger, your poetry brings about a lot of positivity. I forgot to mention "Tomorrow" among the poems that I have included so far in my folder. It seems it was waiting for its final destination on my desktop. Like many of the posts at Jill's forum, which are plenty with optimism about our brilliant future when the New Age is finally here, and regardless that I may at times not actually believe it will, it has been a much needed reading as a fence against the assault of bad news every day.

Tomorrow

(c) Roger Macdivitt 2009

Tomorrow, tomorrow, I’ll ponder awhile.

The thoughts of tomorrow can oft make me smile.

For many fond memories make a pleasant return,

Of days where my fears never matched my concern.

All of my yesterdays were once my tomorrow

More of them finished with joy, not with sorrow.

Life’s lessons show me that with every next day

A word or a gesture some love would portray.

The future is brighter than we want to pretend

Start with a smile, the right message you’ll send

To friends and to colleagues who’s lifetime you share

They will know that you love them and feel that you care.

Be fair and be honest with yourself and with those

Whom life puts before you and ensure you propose

A good share in the best of life’s positive things

Tomorrow’s a joy in the things that it brings.
