Hello Peter,

Yep we are 'birddogs' too.. James use to have a bird dog Chesapeake named Amber and he has tried to find another bird dog that is birdy which has not been the case.  Koda shows promise and he plays with Henny Penny our chicken, but I have to watch that he is not too rough with her. This summer we will get out and do some training with Koda.

James came up with the handle when we were living back in Oregon, but of course with handles you have to select more to finish your original choice as there are always others who have the same handle. 

James is an avid viewer of World Wrestling Entertainment Inc. (WWE) and Stone Cold 316 Steve Austin one of his favourite
wrestlers.  aka The Texas Rattlesnake..
Stone Cold's 316 part came about from a match..

Austin 3:16

When Steve Austin defeated World Wrestling Federation veteran Jake 'The Snake' Roberts at the 1996 King of the Ring, Stone Cold informed the 'Snake' and the world that, "Austin 3:16 says: I just whooped your ass!"

Some people have a problem with this quote, feeling that its sacrilegious. Well I didn't see the Jake Roberts vs Stone Cold match and don't know if Austin created the line or the marketing department but I'm sure no sacrilegious intentions were present. If anything, Roberts character at the time may've been sacrilegious but I don't know what the man's true beliefs were. In any case,

John 3:16 is: "For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life."

A very important line in the Bible, which Roberts quoted at the event. This provoked Austin's response of Austin 3:16.

James loved that, that he chose 3:16 for his own handle so then I got into the mix and called ourselves birddogs316 and then I needed a better website name so a friend suggested I go with birddogs profits, which I did!

Hi again Joe,

Yes, we had this same snow fall which came down and left
us with about 4 inches on the low and 8 inches or so where
the wind blew it into drifts.  It hung around for days then as
the temps were still in the 40os on Wednesday the temps climbed up to 65o - 70o.  James and I left for Omaha to do errands with snow still on the ground and came back to it
almost melted.  It was all gone by Thursday, last night was
a thunderstorm and today it is threatening rain and is overcast
and kinda dark for mid-day. Temps are down outside again
to 41o!
