Adria, sent me an invitation today.  As always I visit the profile page.  She has very nice artist renedered portrait, has completed her profile, started her about me and web page, and has her forum started. 

I would like to urge you all to send Adria, an invitation to become friends.  I am sure she will make an impact on the community. 

I do suggest that Adria upload few pics in her gallery of herself as well. 

Everyone else stay tuned we have refreshing newcomers within this community. 

I for one am tired of seeing the same old faces in the same old places.  Let's welcome the new!

Thank you Jim for introducing your new friend and soon to be mine, I hope.  The artist rendition is beautiful.

We always welcome new people and love to help them get started in ALP.  However, I never tire of seeing the lovely faces of my friends and always look forward to it.  You seem to have a new look here, no hat!!  I really like it, you look more friendly, maybe the hat hid part of your face.

I guess my point is, it gets kind of like Hollywood, you know no new thoughts just remakes and part 1,2,3,4 etc. of what once was a good show.  You know after I saw the original Jaws about 14 times. 

I was really let down with JawsII and subsequent ones after that.  You know they become blasé and uninteresting, and not very creative endeavors as the original.  And definitely not the impact of the original. 

I can hardly get excited about the latest Halloween 43 movie remake, no more than I can seeing the same faces in all the awards forums up for awards they already own.  ;-) 

You know I made the mistake of nominating the POTW last year only to be told much the same as stated above.  But, things change  (New BFA Rules) I guess, even though at the time it was being ran by new faces too. ;-)

So I like new faces and can't wait for some of them to break through the glass ceiling here at ALP.
