I was not getting your posts, or I would have answered long before this  Thanks to Cheryl Baxter for sending the info.
I have seen Akiane a year or more ago.  I think this young lady is awesome, her talent is such a gift.  To think of knowing The Christ from her cradle, just amazes me. 

Luis, this is a wonderful story with some awesome paintings.  She lives so close by and I had never heard of her.  What a glorious relationship with God and using her gift so precious.

Thank you for doing these specials on Art.  It is my favorite of all the arts - painting.  Poetry is second.

(This is a small oil painting by my son.  He has never had any lessons, just the desire and gift for art in most forms.  He prefers music.  Both my sons are talented like that, so I know just a bit how proud those parents must be.)

I just saw your post at Nick's Congrats forum.  I haven't been here for awhile either!  Akiane's paintings are STUNNING!  I really like Creation, the blue made me say "OOOOHHH!!!" (I really like blue!) 

The faces of "Prince of Peace" and "On My Knees" are extremely realistic! 

She's beyond FANTASTIC, she's a very gifted artist.  I'm very glad I came in here.
