You Americans are still lucky for having politics at the place separated of other life stuff. As much as I remember from my birth, here - all is politics. All. Fashion, gastronomy, leisure ....   school .... until my admired toothpicks and snails.

So, you would be surprised when meet child at the age of 3, who makes political comments. So, if I were American ... at the past elections I`d vote for the conservative option.  Still believe, from the two bad at the moment, they were a better choice. I just hope I was and am wrong and USA voters won`t regret for making their choice.

I wish you all the best, and would not be happy if any of the predictions which can be found at the medias past days, will not see daily light.

USA gave so much to the entire world. Many condemn American politics for each war world wide and today are eagerly waiting for all the evil to come there. I cann`t understand that. I think people don`t really understand main points of the life, and for the first, this so often used word : justice. And now, I put my hope into the justice as they understand it, reminding all HOW MUCH GOOD and WORTHY things, in all the life fields, came to the rest of the world, thanks to the USA. WOW!

Several years ago, when my youngest son was about 10 yrs old, his college-age cousin from New York came to visit, and my son said "It's the DEMOCRAT!"   THAT was funny!

I remembered what Bill O'Reilly said on TV the other day, he said Obama has lost 11% in approval ratings since last month.  We don't think he read the 1,100-page bill before signing it, we don't think ANYONE read it, Obama took a 3-day vacation and let it sit from Friday night until Tuesday afternoon, that was very off-putting to a lot of people. 

The stimulus package was written by Nancy Pelosi.  There was recently a cartoon about a chimp that had been shot, and the cops saying "Someone else will need to write the next stimulus bill" and that was taken as a racial remark, lots of people thought it was about Obama.

O'Reilly also said that 60% of the $787,000,000,000 (787 Billion) stimulus package won't go into effect until the year 2010, that's when there are elections for Congress, etc, that may put the Republicans ahead so they can re-vote and possibly defeat or change that 60% of the expense.

BUT I just heard that Obama is giving tax breaks starting April first, so the average family will get to keep $65 monthly of their money, in addition to about $13 to $16 from the weekly rebate ($600 for singles, or $800 for married couples, divided weekly for a year) so having a little extra per month will offer a little help, very little.  My husband's factory just got put on 4-day weeks starting January, so we all need to keep paying 100% of our bills with only 80% of a paycheck.  My sister's husband got fired, from the same factory, because he's over 50 probably, but they said other reasons...so they are moving to the frozen tundra of North Dakota where land is very cheap, people can buy a house with 50 acres of land for half of what they would pay just for a little yard and a house on the east or west coast, if they don't mind being frozen.
