The University of Chicago has released new research showing that using signs and gestures with babies helps boost language development. Today, Diane Sawyer talked about this new research and mentioned the Baby Signs Program on Good Morning America!

"Does your baby shake her head when you try to feed her vegetables? Though that may be frustrating from a nutritional perspective, it can mean good things for her educational future. A new University of Chicago study shows that the more babies gesture, the bigger their vocabularies.
