Hi Leonie,

I am glad you didn't have any painful trigger points. I have osteoarthritis, too. Mild exercise is important for keeping your joints moving rather than getting stiff. Swimming is supposed to be very helpful too. Certain foods may make the pain either greater or may lessen it, but I do not know which ones that would be. It may vary from person-to-person.

I'll try to find some articles on osteoarthritis.

Hi Rinna,

There is still a lot to be learned about fibromyalgia. I believe some rheumatologists are familiar with fibromyalgia and may have some suggestions on how to treat it.

Hi Shirley,

It seems that the only progress made so far is for drug companies to come up with medications that they think will help. There is no cure for fibromyalgia at this point. Hopefully more medical people will learn more in the near future so that they can give suggestions to their patients on how to manage this syndrome.
