New Start ups, Current Programs, Or An Open Mind To One That Does Work With A Track Record? Careful, this may change you life forever!
First (lately) there was Web Prosperity and now Facebook goes MLM, what's next? It simply amazes me how people's focus can shift so quickly and market a program that has a chance to fail of over 95%! If my chance is 5% that a NEW start up will make it in their first 2 years of operation, why would I want to detract my focus when my program is going so well? Why would I market this to my current downline to dilute their focus as well?
I know why others market it! They all want everyone else in their downline and try and reach them before someone else does, LOL! The lure of easy money by being the first to market a NEW program simply amazes me! What it also tells me that there are so many people grasping at straws! Is it truly worth it? In almost all cases, it tells me that people are not happy with their current program since their retention rate is very low, hence low income!
I know how hard it is to retain people, especially when you have a high monthly auto ship requirement that they can't afford nor can they duplicate it! Another trap is Compensation Plans! Another thing that amazes me is how people defend the company they are in no matter how bad it is! I used to do that too until I realized that I truly need to look at what my results are and if the people in my downline stay and are making money too! If YOUR retention is less than 60%, you really need to rethink who is winning here! You work your tail off to make a company rich even though you know most people can't make it in it! This makes no sense whatsoever!
By closing your mind to comparing what is best for YOU and your downline, you have lost touch with the reality of a business person's perspective! Here is a perfect example of this! I go to a meeting where they hand me an income disclosure statement as I sign in! I read through this statement and here is what it says: Less than 1% of the people in this company have made a living! WOW! So, why would I even consider marketing this program if I know my chance to make it is less than 1%? Yet, people ignore this and continue to defend it knowing they will most likely fail as well as the people they bring in?
People need to wake up! Most of you already know that the failure rate in MLM is over 97%, but most never do anything to change that! Thank God I kept an open mind and compared any business that someone proposed to me as I marketed another! In fact, I almost gave up in 2008 after 18 years full time! Why? I simply came to the conclusion that there were NO ethical companies out there! Every single company I have ever been in since 1990 took money away from me and my downline by making changes in the compensation plan, increasing product prices, or added PV, BV, CV which is simply a way for them to skim more money off the top!

Being and entrepreneur and leader requires a lot of thought and evaluation! Do NOT join any NEW startup and gamble with the most precious commodity you have, TIME!
