How cold is it up there?  My sister and her husband are planning to move to upper North Dakota in a few months, right under the border of Manitoba.  Sounds like a horrible mistake!  She lived in Minneapolis for a few years when she was in her early 20's and didn't like THAT, now we've been in west Michigan for a long time and it's an ice-nightmare HERE, so I wonder if she just has a mental blockage about COLDNESS.
