Hi Kathleen,

Thanks for the information.  I have lost files that I could not save to
disc as they were too large etc (I do not have a CD burner so this
was not an option either) because my computer has frozen up to
the point where it has had to be reformatted and reloaded
again.  It has been a real nuisance.

How long have you used this service?

Will it let you save exe programs?  there are lots of places that
will not let you upload them because they are large.

Kathleen.  I just told hubby about CARBONITE.  His statement was...Yeah but what if THEY go down?  Why not buy one of those portable hard drive.  (I told him to repeat it just now!!)

I admit, I'm not computer smart!  I have to READ stuff a couple times to understand most stuff.  Is there any way their site can lose our files and photos that we put there?

I need something BAD!!  I have LOTS of pictures in picasa that I never want to lose.  What do you think about my question?

$50 bucks a year is a pretty good price.

Pat

Hi there Pat,

It looks like we both understand a good deal when we see one.

Hopefully when Kathleen gets over here to answer our questions. My
problem these days I want to know that the company has been around for
awhile and not going to suddenly disappear from the internet like so many
have and you loose not only your money but everything you have put in.

Once we have our questions answered we will be able to join and get started
on saving our precious files, photos etc.
I have lost some photos that I had scanned, I do still have the photos but
redoing them all is a bit of a pain.

Now that I finally have my own digital camera which I have wanted for ages
now, I am able to just upload the ones I want to keep on my website.
