SUNDAY SHOWCASE_Featuring Robert Phillips 01/04/09
1/3/2009 6:58:46 PM
Greetings Members, Happy New Year! 2009 an era of Change. This 1st of the year showcase features a friend, fellow business man and a family man, please welcome a friend of ours Robert Phillips, he hails from Hamilton, Ohio.

Hamilton was laid out as Fairfield in 1794, but took the name of Fort Hamilton, the army post established by General Arthur St. Clair and named for Treasury Secretary Alexander Hamilton. From there, St. Clair and General Richard Butler, namesake of the county, marched north in 1791 to fight Indians. Butler was killed in the expedition. The 'father of Hamilton' and a leading statesman was James McBride.

Hamilton was first incorporated by act of the Ohio General Assembly in 1810, but lost its status in 1815 for failure to hold elections. It was reincorporated in 1827 with Rossville, the community across the Great Miami River in St. Clair Township. The two places severed their connection in 1831 only to be rejoined in 1854. It became a city in 1857. On March 14, 1867, Hamilton withdrew from the townships of Fairfield and St. Clair to form a "paper township", but the city government is dominant.

The county courthouse, listed on the National Register of Historic Places because of its monumental architecture, was constructed between 1885 and 1889. The city has three historic districts that demonstrate part of its past, with areas of turn-of-the-century homes. Like Cincinnati, Hamilton had many German immigrants, whose influence showed in culture, architecture and food.

The paper industry, iron works, and manufacturing works thrived in Hamilton in the early to mid-twentieth century due in part to the immigration of skilled German workers and availability of a good water supply needed by industry. The Great Miami River, Miami Aquifer and the old Miami and Erie Canal system supported industry and transportation. The rivers also created risk; Hamilton was one of the Ohio cities severely damaged by the Great Dayton Flood of 1913.

In the 1920s, many Chicago gangsters had second homes in Hamilton. This gave Hamilton the nickname "Little Chicago". Some appeared to have invested in what became an active district of gambling and prostitution. John Dillinger was documented as a visitor to Hamilton.

During World War II, the entire city was declared off-limits to military personnel because ot its numerous gambling and prostitution establishments. Madame Freeze's and the long row of prostitution houses along Wood Street (now called Pershing Ave) were notorious among soldiers. Factories in Hamilton manufactured military supplies, such as tank turrets, Liberty Ship and submarine engines, and machined and stamped metal parts.

In the 1950s construction of the new interstate highway I-75 followed the Miami and Erie Canal and bypassed the city. Until 1999 when the Butler County Veterans Highway was built, Hamilton was the second largest city in the United States without direct interstate access.

The city has become known for its support of the arts, especially public sculpture.

As of the cences of 2000, there were 60,690 people, 24,188 households, and 15,867 families residing in the city. The population density was 2,808.2 people per square mile (1,084.3/km²). There were 25,913 housing units at an average density of 1,199.0/sq mi (463.0/km²). The racial makeup of the city was 88.94% White, 7.55% African American, 0.29% Native American, 0.45% Asian, 0.04% Pacific Islander, 1.46% from other races, and 1.28% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 2.58% of the population.

There were 24,188 households out of which 31.5% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 45.5% were married couples living together, 15.3% had a female householder with no husband present, and 34.4% were non-families. 29.3% of all households were made up of individuals and 11.7% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.45 and the average family size was 3.02.

In the city the population was spread out with 25.8% under the age of 18, 9.8% from 18 to 24, 29.9% from 25 to 44, 20.2% from 45 to 64, and 14.3% who were 65 years of age or older. The median age was 35 years. For every 100 females there were 92.6 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 89.1 males.

The median income for a household in the city was $35,365, and the median income for a family was $41,936. Males had a median income of $32,646 versus $23,850 for females. The per capita income for the city was $17,493. About 10.6% of families and 13.4% of the population were below the poverty line, including 18.1% of those under age 18 and 9.8% of those age 65 or over.

Hamilton is served by the Hamilton City School district. The district has underway a major $200 million capital program including construction of eight elementary schools, a freshman school, two completely renovated middle schools, and an upgraded high school with two new gyms, a new media center, six new classrooms and a new cafeteria. Talawanda, Ross, and New Miami School Districts also serve corners of the city.

Miami University has a regional campus in the city. Miami University Hamilton opened in 1968 and now has more than 3,400 students. Another campus is found in nearby Middletown, Ohio and has about 2,500 students.

Stephen T. Badin High School, a private Catholic high school of the Archdiocese of Cincinnati, and several Catholic elementary schools serve the city and its surrounding area.

  • Hamilton is one of the few towns located at the intersection of 4 consecutively numbered highways--US 127, and State Routes 128, 129, and 130. Additionally, since State Route 126 is just south of the city, it could be argued that it lies at the intersection of 5 consecutively numbered highways.
  • Hamilton is the only city in the United States to have legally adopted an exclamation point as part of its name. The name was not accepted by geographers; it has not technically been part of the name since 2003.
  • Three teams from Hamilton's West Side Little League have played in the Little League World Series in Williamsport, Pennsylvania. Manager Ray Nichting took teams in 1991 and 1993. His son Tim Nichting managed the 2007 team that advanced to the World Series after winning the Great Lakes championship.  We Love You Robert!

    This Is A True Story...

About How A 28 Old Marketer Went From Being Broke to Working Fulltime in The Network Marketing Industry, Sponsoring 50 Reps, With Only Modest Success.....

To Presenting His Business To Over 3000 People in Less Than 5 Weeks!

You've reached the official Adlandpro Page of Robert Phillips, from Cincinnati Ohio Usa. I started this Alandpro page for a couple of reasons.

First, to meet positive like minded people that are looking to take their lives to the next level. And secondly to help as many people as possible from making the same mistakes I made going to The School Of Hard Knocks in the Network Marketing Industry.

For the past 5 years, I have worked in the marketing and Sales advertising.  I've launched numerous products and services into the marketplace including Poker-Worldwide.com, Ziz-Biz.com, and uvmeleaders.com.

My passion since the age of 11 has always been in marketing and advertising, so when someone introduced me to the concept of Network Marketing, I figured it would be an absolute breeze. I started my own business selling candy at at school in junior high did that for 2 1/2 years grades 6th thur 8th grade this was in the early 90's and made about $50 a week doing it.

I mean, how difficult could it be to find a few people and teach them to find a few people? What could be so different about Network Marketing than conventional marketing?

Boy Was I In For A Big surprise!

My sponsor came from the Old School of Network Marketing. 8 years in the industry and a 5 figure monthly income, so I thought for sure, working by her side, that I too would be on the road to financial freedom. I was new to the industry, so I asked her what to do.

She said, "Its simple Robert! Just make a list of your top 100 business contacts and invite them to take a look!"

I remember these words like they were yesterday! "Put 20 of your best people infront of me and you'll never look back!"

None of my contacts were Network Marketers and none of their contacts were Network Marketers. So, although I enrolled 50 reps into the business, and I was one of people out of 200,000 affiliates making money, I just wasn't seeing the type of duplication that I knew I should be. And my income certainly wasn't matching my skill level.

I figured if I just exposed more people, ran more ads, bought more leads, surely I would have the same success as my trusty sponsor.

So I started running Ads in The Newspaper and Mail, as well as putting out press releases about my opportunity. All of the people I was attracting however were from conventional business.

They Were Not Network Marketers And Did Not Understand The Network Marketing Business Model

I remember enrolling one businessman who had an amazing track record in business.  We were just completing his paperwork and I remember him saying "Robert, can we sell these products through the health food stores throughout North America?"  Oh boy, I thought. He just doesn't get this!

I watched people all around me who had 15, 20 and 25 years in the network marketing industry explode their businesses into massive momentum yet it just didn't seem to be happening for me. I had spent Thousands of dollars and 2 years of my life to enroll 50 reps and build an organization of only 200 people. I was obviously missing something here!

    How It All Changed

I started looking online to find different ways to promote my business. Well, after searching for a few days non stop on EVERYTHING MLM...mlm leads, mlm success, mlm scams, mlm millions....EVERYTHING-

I came across a website with a video on it. It was talking about things that I've never heard of, such as:

    -Web 2.0
    -Funded Proposal
    -Funnel Concept
    -Video Marketing

This really sparked my curiosity, so I started doing more research until finally I enrolled into a mentoring program with a professional online marketer.  In this program they went very deep into detail in each topic I just listed, but they also gave away a list of some sites that I should emulate, and some resources I could follow.

One of these websites was MYSPACE ... Well, I'm sitting here asking myself, "is this guy kidding?!?!?"
The more research I did, the more I found all of this information to be true and all of these people were making a killing in online marketing.

Business Model So How Did I Apply This ?!?

My personal statistics are quite simple:
-I've promoted my business to over 3,000 people in less than 5 weeks
-I have people calling me asking ME to join my business
-I don't pitch to people anymore, they come to me

Business Model So, How Did I Show My Business To Over 3,000 People In Less Than 5 Weeks?

Well, I applied technology and some tactics that 90% of network marketers and MLM business people don't use. Most MLM business people that follow the 3 foot rule might end up talking to and showing their business to 2-3 a day...IF THEY'RE GOOD!

Over my 5 week period I showed my business to 3,000 people...that comes out to OVER 80 PEOPLE EVERY SINGLE DAY...over 20 times what people that use traditional methods get!

I've found that to have massive success in business, and to stop just trading your time for money, you need to show your business plan to AS MANY PEOPLE AS POSSIBLE!

The larger net you cast, the more income you will have...and the less time you will spend trying to promote as opposed to living your life.
