_{12.After the deportation to Babylon, Jechoniah fathered Salathiel, Salathiel fathered Zerubbabel, 13.Zerubbabel fathered Abiud, Abiud fathered Eliakim, Eliakim fathered Azor, 14.Azor fathered Zadok, Zadok fathered Achim, Achim fathered Eliud, 15.Eliud fathered Eleazar, Eleazar fathered Matthan, and Matthan fathered Jacob. 16.Jacob fathered Joseph, the husband of Mary, who was the mother of Jesus,who is called the Messiah.}              

_{17.So all the generations from Abraham to David totalled fourteengenerations, and from David to the deportation to Babylon totalled fourteen generations, and from the deportation to Babylon to the Messiah there were fourteen generations.1}

_{18.Now the birth of Jesus the Messiah happened in this way. When his mother Mary was engaged to Joseph, before they lived together she was discovered to be pregnant by the Holy Spirit. 19.Her husband Joseph, being a righteous man and unwilling to disgrace her, decided to divorce her secretly.1}

_{20.After he had thought about it, an angel of the Lord appeared to him in a dream and said, “Joseph, son of David, don't be afraid to take Mary as your wife, because what has been conceived in her is from the Holy Spirit. 21She will give birth to a son, and you are to name him Jesus, because he is the one who will save his people from their sins.”}

_{22.Now all this happened to fulfill what was declared by the Lord through the prophet when he said,}

_{23.    “See, a virgin will become pregnant}

_{and give birth to a son,}

      _{and they will name him Immanuel}

_{which means, “God with us.” 24.When Joseph got up from his sleep, he did as the angel of the Lord had commanded him and took Mary as his wife. 25.He did not have marital relations withher until she had given birth to a son; and he named him Jesus.  I know i may have printed this out before, but i wanted to show you how much love is there when rabbi Jesus was born and the prep it took to before hand. Someone was speaking to me about love and without scripture there is no love.  Ephesians 5:1-2 Be imitators of God, therefore, as dearly loved children and live a life of love, just as Christ loved us and gave himself up for us as a fragrant offering and sacrifice to God.
