Merry Christmas from Kentucky my sunny friend JoAnne,

Oh, I know Texarkana very well. We travel through there every time we go to see my oldest daughter and her family down in Houston. She called me on Wednesday last week to tell me it was snowing, something it had not done since I lived there in 82'.

Good old HWY 59 lol is it still under construction? In all my 30 years of traveling that road has always been under some kind of construction.

We have snow falling and will change over to ice later this afternoon. Looks like everyone here will have a white Christmas and Hanukkah too.

I pray you make it home safely for Christmas.

Thank you for coming to learn about Hanukkah.

Merry Christmas to you and yours!

Blessings,

Geketa

Shalom Geketa,

Thank you so much for your invite.

100% of this was new to me and I love to know more about other folks beliefs, traditions and history.

I really enjoyed this posting.

Happy

Chanukkah

Dear Geketa,

Thank you so much for inviting me. You have taught me so much this evening. You have a beautiful holiday and it truly should be shared.

Please Geketa, do not leave out the o in God! We have the freedom of speech and the freedom to choose and practise our religion. If this is stopped, then we are all being persecuted as our biblical ancestors were and as our ancestors in Germany were.

Shout his name from the highest mountain always! For God is our creator!

Shalom Dear Friend

Hi Beverly,

Thank you for coming to learn and Celebrate Hanukkah . I am glad you learned something new today. That makes me very happy to teach . I try to learn something new myself everyday.

The reason for leaving out the o when we write G-d is not out of persecution but two fold. One is that his name my not be erased and the other is out of respect. It too is a very old tradition.

I wish you and yours a very Merry Christmas

Shalom ,

Geketa
