To all my Mississauga and Brampton brothers and sisters, I will be featured in the magazine 24 Hours for my work in breast cancer awareness and Movember in November for prostate cancer which is why I grew the mustache. It will be out Tuesday Dec 2 so in the meantime enjoy my new creation - God Bless !
Corrected
Mistake
Her soft
round face is heavily painted,
with
thick lips of ruby red
Money was
quickly exchanged,
not a
word was ever said
Hungry, I
found a place to eat,
to try
and calm down from a spreading fright
Unnecessary
heated words were said,
on this
confusing and disturbed night
I
unconsciously drive around in circles,
wondering
when and where to stop
It must
have looked very suspicious,
as I got
pulled over by a cop
He
cautiously looked in through the window,
And the
next moment he offered me a grin
he said
“Why not go home”,
I will
not mention where you have been
With
great hesitation the front door is opened,
and the
painted lady is in hand
I slowly
walk toward the bedroom,
it is
time to make my stand
Looking
into my little one’s eye’s,
And holding
the painted lady by my side
I could
tell by the clinging tears,
That the
love of my life had cried
Sitting
on the edge of the bed,
I gently
handed her the doll
Yelling
at her earlier,
I now
felt so very small !
