Hi Shirley,

It is cold here, too. Snow is predicted for tomorrow but just an inch or so in our area. I live in northcentral Indiana. Northern Indiana may get as much as 9 inches tomorrow.

Hi Myrna,

I don't like to have sugar added to so many of the food products we purchase from the grocery. I wish they would skip adding sugar, except in desserts.

I like tapioca, too and never thought about adding it to stew.

Thanks for stopping by!

Hi Phil,

I wish you were my neighbor. I'd love one of your home-made loaves of bread, yummy!  Thanks for sharing your recipe.

Your stew sounds yummy Donna.  Like you and some of the other people I wouldn't add the sugar.  And you know what?  I wouldn't add the salt either.  Those beef bullion cubes and the v-8/tomato juice have LOTS of sodium.

I'm really trying to cut down.  I'm probably a "saltaholic" though but I'm trying to cut down!

Thanks for the recipe.

Pat
