I've known a lot of pastor's wives       

        With whom I was impressed.

But there is one of gracious heart

        Who rose above the rest.

Words fall short to tell just how

        She touched you with her heart.

The love she showed, with tender care,

        At once set her apart.

God's words were not just in her hands;

        It was alive within.

I know that from the Lord's own hands,

        A special crown she'll win.

Her winning smile and sincere care

        With each person she would greet;

Will keep her always in our hearts,

        Until in heaven we meet.

A pastor needs a special mate

        To stand close by his side.

Of all the things a pastor needs;

        To her God did provide.

Her warmth and love to all she met

        Most willingly she shared.

With Billie Ann, one thing you knew,

        She genuinely cared.
