If your virus protection program is up-to date, it should stop you getting the virus.
Bill, I know the headline is not exactly correct, but to get members attention, you have to be graphic, & yes it is not the actual opening of the email, but the clicking of the link that infects your computer, as it states in the original post.
If members are warned what the actual email is, then they can delete it without opening it & not be tempted to click on the link & test to see if their virus protection is good enough or not. I would rather prevent the members from having to test this.
Also, not everyone may have an up-to date virus program, or any virus protection at all. I hope that all members of Adlandpro have good virus protection, but they may know people who don't have virus protection & they can warn them not to open the email.
Prevetion is always better than having to work for hours to get your computer fixed.
Everyone else, thank you for your replies. I will always pass on to members any threats that may damage their computer systems.
