Hello Trina, thank you for sharing this article with us.  I found it very interesting and informative.  It is sad these things have happened and caused financial problems for you and your husband.  I pray all will work out for the best for you.  I like this portion:

These people, the abusers, are attempting to build themselves up by tearing down their victim. 'Look world! I am better than they are.' When they have no legitimate ammunition, they take their own behaviors and misconduct and accuse their victim of those deeds. It is my opinion that this goes on because the abuser is wrapped up in jealousy; jealousy of their victim. They wish they could be more like them, and since they lack the capacity to honestly emulate them, they trash them instead.

This is somethings I have observed over the years and I agree with you.  Another thing I have observed among males is statue has something to do with personality.  Among the shorter statue men, I find many of them to be much more aggressive than a guy who is much taller.  Have you ever observed this?  I used to work for a guy who was really short and he was always elated to be able to 'cut down' a co-worker and 'put them in their place.'  It has always seemed to me that in these ways they were trying to make up for their being shorter.  For women - and we all know women can be 'cats' at times!  An attractive woman can be brutally treated by other women who don't look so good.  Human nature is a strange thing and it is hard for us to agree on much of anything.  I have spent a lot of my years observing people, not judging, just watching.  Of course now with the internet, it is really hard to 'read' a person behind a computer monitor.  Words say a lot but do they really tell us much?

Interesting subject and I hope you get lots of responses.  Always like to hear what other people have to say.

Bless you,

Sara

Hello Sara!

Thank you for your input. Now that you mention it, I have noticed that trait in men. My ex was/is a shorter, heavy man, and he is the biggest bully I've ever met. The love of my life is 6'2" and is the most soft-spoken, kind, and honorable man I have ever known.

And yes, women can be cats too. It's all about jealousy.

I thank you for visiting and posting. Have an awesome night.

Hi Trina, You are doing a good thing here,...many do not understand the many forms of abuse and just think it is every day life happenings! And even tho we are survivors,...sometimes...just sometimes...we still feel the 'victim' ...just for a moment....we remind ourselves we are 'survivors'...and it takes years and years of healing. Even in our survivor stage. More power to you for sharing your personal life with others, so that they to may understand they are not alone and healing does come. Here are my favorite scriptures I'd like to share with readers: "They that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength: they shall mount up with wings as eagles, they shall run, and not be weary, and they shall walk, and not faint." - Isaiah 40:31 "He healeth the broken in heart, and bindeth up their wounds." - Psalms 147:3 "And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free." John 8:32 "God shall help thee; he shall bless thee with blessings of heaven above." Genesis 49:25 "I have heard thy prayers, I have seen thy tears: behold, I will HEAL thee." 2 Kings 20:5 read Matthew Chapter 5 reads Ecclesiastes 3:1-8 I always like to remind myself when I'm having a bad day, 'This too shall pass!' To all the victims and survivors in the world....God Bless. Keep smiling, Cindy
