Carla,

It's good to see that some people still have some old-school wisdom about relating to others in a vehicle such as this here @ ALP.  It's very funny too, since this was the way I actually chose to contact Carla.  Let me illustrate what annoys the bejeezus outta me.  I like to put everything out there on front street when I establish business community relationships.  Whenever people check my profile (and it's a great thing about ALP that you can be notified about who was looking you up), they KNOW upfront what I'm all about, they know what I want them to know because I TELL them.  Now, even with me having done my part and educated all potential contactees, it's almost like I'm getting punished for daring to have the testicular fortitude to know exactly what it is that I want and not to have to deal with anything but that.  The reason why I referred to Carla as common-sensical is because (and I can only assume) she understands the innate concept of how to deal with people in everyday situations by respecting the mental, physical, and emotional signal flashed at the encroaching world and other Humans in it.  I find the people who have no regard for these things to be the most loutish, waste-of-time, narcissistically-involved pinheads who're better isolated with no answer to their digital sheinanigans as soon as they show up in the PM system doorway.  You know what I mean - you get a marketing msg from someone who is in your friends circle over and over again.  Now, because of all the variables that come into play in the unfolding of the organic psycho-
drama called "Life", there could literally be a thousand different reasons why I haven't responded to the marketing message.  And even if I was willfully non-responsive, with the software available for mail list stats these days (and for FREE), I would think that marketing pinhead would get it that maybe I either didn't want it, didn't like it, or was too busy with my own organic issues to get back to them to help them in their target goal of roping in more people to get paid off of.  Why are these people arrogant enough to think that my time would be better spent in service of THEIR projects?  And then, because I have the ability to reply back, letting them know that I have no time for their opportunity because I'm busy in all my pursuits and not hopping from program to cash-gifting program hoping to make the max before the pyramid runs dry.  All that really doesn't bother me.  It's the fact that when you do reply back to these pinheads to apprise them of this, instead of either taking the hint and taking a powder on the current email campaign, or apologizing for this gaffe and really trying to work with the person to find out what it is that would make them vibrate down to the core of their being.  No.  What's the typical pinhead marketer response?  Either to try and get some sarcastic one-up on you and your preferences, or to pinhead on over your stated position, or some sort of verbal fecal matter that usually is a by-product of the insecurity of someone who's chosen to build their foundation on shifting sands.  And since I have rhino-like skin (and decades of experience in these matters), they really mean less than the gnat-like mentalities that they inflict upon the world by the ever-loving Twitter-second, lol!  I guess I shouldn't be suprised at the ways of the swarm.  I just want to thank you, Carla, for having that good, old-fashioned common-sensical approach to life.  Don't worry, keep at it, YOU WILL WIN.

Wow! Sonja

Don't be shy-how do you really feel?
I have to admit that initially I feel some of the same emotions, but after taking a deep breath-sometime 2 or 3, I try to conclude that when people are just starting to learn a new way of working, they are going to make a lot of mistakes.
Sometimes, I take the time to let them know why their approach was offensive to me, sometime not.
But life is a learning experience.
When my daughter was about 10 she would come home every single day and ask for a soda-even though she knew the answer would be NO!

That phase lasted for about 6 months and we were on to some other annoying little issue.
Thankfully she is grown up now and I get to annoy the heck outta her.

Good discussion, Carla.
