	Mary, Another aspect of beech is that is makes wonderful bentwood chairs. Obviously if treat properly it is extremely versatile and flexible. More fine attributes. Roger

	Roger, Yes, yes, yes, I knew there was another item in the discussion about the great Beech Tree. I just got too caught up with the ham and bacon ever so sweet pig meat. Beechwood Furniture would be the name of many furniture companies. Furniture of quality.
