Hello Myrna and Friends...

Let's connect and feel Oneness with the Spirit of the 4 directions...

... so that we can consciously act as "Rainbow Warriors"...

... in following and applying the "Rainbow Principles"...

... spreading a whole new set of vibration of Light and Love upon the Earth...

Have a wonderful weekend!

Blessings,

Alain

Hi Myrna & Friends,

It's been a hectic week and my thoughts and dreams have been troubled.  Perhaps I need another Dreamcatcher.

The Legend Of The Dreamcatcher

"A spider was quietly spinning his web in his own space. It was beside the sleeping space of Nokomis, the grandmother.

Each day, Nokomis watched the spider at work, quietly spinning away. One day as she was watching him, her grandson came in. "Nokomis-iya!" he shouted, glancing at the spider. He stomped over to the spider, picked up a shoe and went to hit it.

"No-keegwa," the old lady whispered, "don't hurt him." "Nokomis, why do you protect the spider?" asked the little boy.

The old lady smiled, but did not answer. When the boy left, the spider went to the old woman and thanked her for saving his life. He said to her, "For many days you have watched me spin and weave my web. You have admired my work. In return for saving my life, I will give you a gift." He smiled his special spider smile and moved away, spinning as he went. Soon the moon glistened on a magical silvery web moving gently in the window. "See how I spin?" he said. "See and learn, for each web will snare bad dreams. Only good dreams will go through the small hole. This is my gift to you. Use it so that only good dreams will be remembered. The bad dreams will become hopelessly entangled in the web." ~~Author Unknown.~~

Dreamcatcher

Round and encircling.
Intricate in finely woven filters, like a web.
Soft feathers adorn the outer ring.
A dreamcatcher for all the eviland bad dreams to trap forever.

A mystical symbol of our Indian heritage.
A gift given to me and my son, for comfort.
Catch our bad dreams and trap them like mist over water.

The mystical power of our dreamcatchers.
Take the evil and give us only enlightenment, in our dreamworlds.

Have A Blessed & Beautiful Evening,

Phil

“There may be trouble all around, but I am calling you to a place of peace. Be still and know that I am God. Come to Me, and I will give you wisdom, strength, and grace for everything you face." Psalm 46:10

Hi Myrna!

Hi Phil!

Great post about the Dreamcatcher... I would have reacted very much like grandmother... so much wisdom to learn from all living things...

Here is the story behind the creation of the alphabet...

“Spider wove the web that brought humans
the first picture of  the alphabet.
The letters were part of the angles of her web.
Deer asked Spider what she was weaving
and why all the lines looked like symbols.
Spider replied, "Why Deer, it is time for Earth’s children
to learn to make records of their progress in their Earthwalk."
Deer answered Spider, "But they already have pictures
that show through symbols the stories of their experiences."
"Yes" Spider said, "But Earth’s children are growing more complex,
and their future generations will need to know more.
The ones to come won’t remember how
to read the petroglyphs."

and, here is a picture I took from a spider...

Have a great weekend My Friend,

Blessings,

Alain

Hello Phil,

I do hope the dream catcher brings you peace, and your troubles flee.  The dream catchers are so beautiful and I love the legends  about them.  To look at a spider web and all its beauty and how strong the web is, I find it amazing.

I love this part:

The mystical power of our dreamcatchers.
Take the evil and give us only enlightenment, in our dreamworlds.
