Hi Myrna sorry I am so late on coming to your Native American forum. I have been meaning too.

I want to thank you for this beautiful music and video.

Are you of Native American heritage? I am not but I feel very connected to them as though I were. My Mom does too. When I was in grade school she would talk about the Indians allot that lived in the Seattle, Burien area. She would try to sooth me during a very stressful time of my life by telling me to imagine that we were Indian maidens riding up and down Puget Sound in a canoe and walking through the woods in leather moccasins quietly so as not to disturb the bears, deer and owl. We lived and Mom still lives right above Three Tree Point. It was believed Three Tree Point was an ancient burial ground. I didn't realize I had so much Indian history to tell you Mryna, Phil and Karen.

Love and big hugs.

Barb, Baby and Beenie :)))

Hi Barb,

I'm so glad you're here. Isn't this one of the most peaceful places you visit here at Adland. Myrna does such a Wonderful Job.

Thanks for sharing the information about Three Tree Point. Long, long ago, I was able to visit there with my first wife, right after her parents first moved out to Puyallup, WA. It was absolutely Beautiful...

Three Tree Point is a low, gravelly, triangle-shaped spit jutting into the east side of Puget Sound. It is about the mid-point between Seattle and Tacoma.

Speaking of Peaceful situations with the Deer, here's something that I thought that everyone might enjoy...

O' GREAT SPIRIT

Help me always to speak the truth quietly,
To listen with an open mind when others speak,
And to remember the peace that may only be found in silence.
May God Richly Bless You My Friends,
Phil
“There may be trouble all around, but I am calling you to a place of peace. Be still and know that I am God. Come to Me, and I will give you wisdom, strength, and grace for everything you face." Psalm 46:10

Hi Phil,
I am jealous of you going to NC to see the Cherokee people and their drama. I would love to be there, but can not make it.

Thanks for posting the website I have bookmarked it. There is just so much information that it just blows me away. I get on youtube and get carried so involved with their music. I enjoy it so much and I can hear it over and over and it is just so wonderful to the soul.

I do hope you can watch this, the scenery is so beautiful and then there are a lot of animals and the lovely owl.

Blessings,
Myrna

Hi Barb,

Thank you for coming by, I am so glad to see you. I have no Native American heritage, I am Irish and English, but I do feel something about these wonderful people, I think it is a spiritual thing. I love the way they worship The Creator how they use the earth and do not destroy it,all the things they do are for a reason, a purpose. No waste, they enjoy the natural things that we were meant to enjoy. The love they show for the earth, how they use the four directions, wind, water and the meaning they have, it is really holy to me. It really comes from the heart. I hope you understand what I mean.

Blessings and hugs,
Myrna
