Here's one reason they were booed don't ya think?

President Obama Just Cost Ohio 200,000 Jobs

COMMENTARY | President Barack Obama just cost Ohio 200,000 jobs. The man elected on campaign promises to create jobs and make America a leader in green-energy production just pushed the United States Department of Agriculture into delaying shale gas drilling in Wayne National Forest.

The low-income region in the Hocking Hills are is filled with quality workers starved for opportunities. Gov. John Kasich laid out an aggressive plan to bolster clean-energy careers during an environmental summits just months ago. The governor's efforts, applauded by green advocacy groups, are least delayed and may possibly be denied.

The six-month delay was ordered to allow for time to study the environmental impact of hydraulic fracturing or fracking. The Environmental Protection Agency has stacks of studies and monitoring reports on the practice dating back to the 1950s. President Obama's move to satisfy a fraction of extreme environmental groups fearful that fracking would harm waterways shattered the economic hopes of an entire state.

Planned drilling in multiple Ohio regions offers more than direct drilling and transportation employment. A steady paycheck for shale and natural gas industry workers would be spent in towns across the state providing funds for non-drilling businesses. Communities would benefit from increased sales at local businesses, delinquent property taxes would get paid helping public levies and struggling homeowners would be able to prevent foreclosure.

Anti-drilling rhetoric by some environmental groups opposed to drilling in the national forest is juvenile and not based in fact. Ohio Environmental Council spokesman Jack Shaner said drilling in the Wayne would turn the Ohio Valley into Ozone Alley. There have been a multitude of oil and gas wells pumping in the forest for years without causing a harmful impact on either the environment or muscle-powered recreational opportunities.

Those of us who chose to live in the beautiful yet impoverished region of the state appreciate, respect and protect our natural resources. We understand how to balance forest care and economic opportunities. Vinton County is often referred to as the "Hardwood Capitol of America" yet our forests are still filled with healthy trees.

The safety guidelines and technology used during fracking prevent brine from mixing seeping into water reserves. President Obama had an entire year to review and initiate a study on the impact drilling would have in the Wayne, there was no logical reason to wait until the eleventh hour to halt economic prosperity in Ohio.

Then of course Obama states that he thinks American's are too lazy!
We all know why he has delayed - it is not on their agenda to make jobs
so people can feed their families, keep their homes, warm in winter and live
a peaceful life... it is the exact opposite
