Obama is the "Worst President Since WWII," Q-poll Finds
7/2/2014 9:11:53 PM
"Obviously," this was a poll conducted by right-wingers and they only questioned right-wingers, because how could any reasonable person possibly doubt that Obama is second only to (or equal with) GOD. The Libtard Show

Obama is the "Worst President Since WWII," Q-poll Finds

Daniel Doherty | Jul 02, 2014

The president’s second term has been marred by humiliations and setbacks. From the IRS, VA, and AP scandals to the botched Obamacare website rollout, the 44thpresident of the United States can’t seem to catch a break. And as a consequence, the public has bestowed upon him the most uncharitable of titles, according to a freshly-released Quinnipiac University poll: the worst American president since FDR:

President Barack Obama is the worst president since World War II, 33 percent of American voters say in a Quinnipiac University National Poll released today. Another 28 percent pick President George W. Bush.

Ronald Reagan is the best president since WWII, 35 percent of voters say, with 18 percent for Bill Clinton, 15 percent for John F. Kennedy and 8 percent for Obama, the independent Quinnipiac (KWIN-uh-pe-ack) University poll finds. Among Democrats, 34 percent say Clinton is the best president, with 18 percent each for Obama and Kennedy.

Meanwhile, more respondents now say the country would be “better off” if Mitt Romney took the presidential oath of office in 2012 instead of the incumbent. Brutal:

America would be better off if Republican Mitt Romney had won the 2012 presidential election, 45 percent of voters say, while 38 percent say the country would be worse off

Missing Mitt are Republicans 84 - 5 percent and independent voters 47 - 33 percent, while Democrats say 74 - 10 percent that the U.S. would be worse off with Romney

"Over the span of 69 years of American history and 12 presidencies, President Barack Obama finds himself with President George W. Bush at the bottom of the popularity barrel," said Tim Malloy, assistant director of the Quinnipiac University Poll.

What’s done is done. The point of term limits and quadrennial elections is to give the people regular intervals and opportunities to elect their commander-in-chief. But the American people chosetheir president in 2012, and therefore must now live with what they have wrought. Whether President Obama is already a lame-duck president, meanwhile, is already being vigorouslydebated and discussed. But what cannot be debated and discussed is that the president will be the nation’s chief executive at least for another few years.

Can he rehabilitate his image and save his presidency in what little time he has left? Judging by this and other similarly conducted polls, I’d say he's got his work cut out for him.

Poll: Among Modern Presidents, Obama Seen as Biggest "Failure"

Poll: Among Modern Presidents, Obama Seen as Biggest "Failure"

Daniel Doherty | Nov 30, 2013

In fairness, he’s still in office. Hence Americans are more apt to take a harsher view of him than, say, Howard Taft or Calvin Coolidge. (For what it’s worth, go back and look at George W. Bush’s approval ratings today compared to where they used to be five years ago. It’s no secret Americans like presidents a lot better after they leave office).

This is a long way of saying that the president's ugly numbers will almost certainly improve over time after he retires from public life, although just how much remains to be seen. For now, however, he’s more of a “failure” than any of his modern predecessors. And that, of course, is not something to brag about:

Obama to Visit Mosque, Host Muslim Leaders on July 4th

Indonesia_Obama_mosque1<National Report>White House Press Secretary Josh Earnest announced today that President Obama will be visiting a Washington D.C. area Mosque on the morning of July 4th as a goodwill gesture to Muslim Americans. The name and location of the Mosque are currently being withheld for security reasons.

The President has long been criticised for being sympathetic towards Muslims and has even been accused of secretly being Muslim himself. His announcement to visit a Mosque on the morning of America’s most patriotic holiday will likely add to this criticism.

According to Earnest, following his visit to the Mosque, the President will host the traditional White House July 4th cookout. Several influential Muslim leaders have been invited to attend the cookout, as a further gesture of goodwill.

American Muslim Ahmed Mohamed Usman, who will be attending the cookout, had nothing but praise for President Obama’s decision. In an interview this afternoon on NPR, Usman had the following to say:

“America is supposed to be the land of freedom and of tolerance. Finally we are starting to see this. If America has Christian prayer breakfasts, so must it have breakfasts praying to Mecca. If America is to put the 10 Commandments on display, so must she display the Quran. To be welcomed into the highest office of America to celebrate her birth and independence is an honor and is a step for Muslims in America to begin to establish our rights. President Obama is truly opening the door for Muslims in America.”
