Re: Yes or No ... Bailout Wall Street Fatcats?

Hi Jim

I'm sure everyone knows this, but I'm just hear to rub this in the Democrats nose's

According to CNNMoney.com, Wall Street securities and investment firms have given over $35 million to Democratic candidates this election cycle. And the amount they've given to the Clinton and Obama campaigns is nearly five times the amount they've given to McCain.

If you've been wondering why the financial industry has been in meltdown -- and taking your 401(k) or investment portfolio down with it -- now you know.

Let's face it: The former frat boys who populate Wall Street today understand economics about as well as the pinko professors whose courses they snored through.

Just a little food for thought

Sandy

Articles:

Wall Street's grim news has plenty of people worried about their pocketbooks. Lawmakers are among them, not only concerned with how to boost the economy but with their own personal finances tied to companies that are struggling. The richest members of Congress seem to be the most invested in the companies at the center of the Wall Street shake-up.

How did Wall Street's largest firms also become some of the largest donors to John McCain and Barack Obama's presidential campaigns? Take a look at the candidates' rosters of bundlers on OpenSecrets.org, and it becomes clear.

Hi Jim,

I voted too! Looks Like we all agree!! Problem is, I heard not bailing them out could cause a economic disaster.

Here is an Idea and perspective

"Bail Out Americans Not AIG

I received this email from Bill Hinkle owner of Tugboat Traffic.

I think it would be a good idea.
I for 1 do not see the benefit in giving bail out money to people that have already lost their asses because they can not manage the billions they already had. Give the rest of us a try at spending our own money!

Here's what Bill has for an idea to help get us out of this mess."

Posted in it's entirety here

Thanks Jim for another chance to have a little voice. If we all keep yelling maybe at some point someone will hear us.

I confess to be a long time Republican support the party for what is supposed to be.

This whole election thing makes me sick. here is a Jack Cafferty piece if you want to see what I mean.

If Sarah Palin Being One Heartbeat Away "Doesn't Scare The Hell Out Of You, It Should"

Do I really want to be associated with this party??

We need to start listening to Ron Paul and see who he is endorsing.

Yes even though the supposed major players have tried put a hush on the Ron Paul views. There is a huge amount of people behind him and what he stands for, In no way should you underestimate the power here.
