THE  BROAD  OR  NARROW  WAY

Matthew 7:13-14

What is your hope of life after you face death?

Just where will you be when you draw your final breath?

For those who trust in Christ there’s a final sure reward.

“Absent from the body is present with the Lord.”*

There are two paths of life from which we all must choose.

Upon one you will win, on the other you will loose.

One is well trodden and very broad it’s breadth.

Jesus said of this one, “It is the way of death.”

The other is quite narrow and few will go that way.

The end of it is Life and God’s eternal day.

Each pathway has a gate.  One called Wide, the other Strait.

Depending which you choose determines your estate.

Upon the Narrow way a toll must first be paid.

The blood that Jesus shed was the price for us He made.

The Broad way has no toll.  At first it’s free and clear.

But hell’s the price one pays if they choose to enter here.
