One of the things I've spent years trying to teach people in this life is that FEELINGS are an absolutely terrible way to make choices.

Feelings lie.  Period.

When you go to make a choice as important as hiring a new employee, or in this case, voting for a leader for your country, you need to put your feelings aside and dig for the truth.

In the present situation, there is a LOT of information available on all the candidates if you're willing to take the time to look.

Finding the dirt on one politician does not mean you can ignore the other.  He or she may be even dirtier.  Furthermore, ignoring experience as a qualification for public office could be like hiring a two year old to drive a school bus.  You're not just putting yourself in danger.

Think about it and keep digging.

John McCain's 30 year old divorce and the reasons for it calls into question his "Family Values" that he seems to be so proud of. The fact is that he dumped his disabled wife for beauty and money and paid her off by taking care of her financially (through his new wife's bank account, to escape guilt in doing what he did. If she had blabbed his career would never have taken off either.

The changes I see as needed are:

1.   Get out of Iraq
2.   Revamp the health care system
3.   Equal opportunity for education
4.   Equal pay for equal work for the sexes
5.   Global Warming
6.   Protecting wildlife and habitats
7.    Putting Americans back to work here on American soil
8.   Illegal immigration
9.   Renewable energy
10.   Social Security Reform

That's a start. Since Bush has been in office this country has gone from surplus to starvation. The Constitution has been used as administrative toilet paper.

John McCain would privatize Social Security. Why should he care if the government gambles away the retirement of millions; he's got millions of his own [his wife's] to take care of him.

All one has to do is listen to Obama speak to know that he can do better than McCain. Does anyone here listen to the candidates when they talk?

Hi Trina,

While the election I will be voting in is here, in Canada, I must very strongly suggest that you do some very serious digging into Mr. Obama's history.  If you do not very quickly discover some very serious and distressing facts, I would politely submit that you're not looking very hard.

Mr. McCain is certainly far from perfect, but from what documented facts I have discovered about Mr. Obama, he is downright scary.

It is written that one day the wheat and chaff will be seperated.

I belive the vest thing we can do is Vote the Bible.  If a candidate adhears to God's Word, then they may be the one that is to be placed in a position to do what the Holy Spirt directs them to do.

I know it is hard for me to even consider a person that has never defended his country and believes that abortion is nothing more than a sacrifice to the sex goddes. Or one could say a sacrifice to satan.

If you don't believe that life begins at conception and it is ok to kill a baby, If you believe that it is ok to let a baby's head protrode from a mother and then crush it's head and suck the brains out, or you believe that it is ok for a man to marry a man or a woman marry another woman.

Then I believe you should vote for the democratic ticket, because you will have all of your wishes full filled!

But if you believe that the Bible is God's Word then all of the above is against what the Word says.

4,000 babies are slaughtered every day, there have been an estimated 60 Million killed since Roe vs Wade was inacted.
