I never really had thought about it before, but now that you mention it, it does look kinda like the perfect spot for Edith Ann, now doesn't it...

Of course, the Original "Big Chair", as you can see in this Photo from 1927...

was a work of fine Craftmanship, but obviously couldn't withstand the elements as well as the one we now have.
On the subject of "Big Furniture", High Point, NC, the town where I was born, lays claim to the "World's Largest Bureau"...

I'm so glad that you stopped by to visit Steven, and thanks for your kind words. Now whenever I drive by the Big Chair, I'll be seeing little Edith Ann perched on top. I've always been a big fan of Lily Tomlin, although "Ernestine", the telephone operator is still my favorite.
