Thanks so much for coming by to share these happy moments with me and thanks for all of the kind comments.

Though we have only recently become Friends, I feel as though I know you much better after spending some time reading several of your Articles.  One thing I definitely do know my Friend, you have a real Talent for writing and I appreciate that you chose to share it.  "The Meadow" was especially moving to me and rekindled many happy Childhood memories.  Of course, rather than the Meadow, my fantasy world was in those deep dark Woods of which you spoke, and once there, my Imagination was fully unleashed.

spend some time reading even just an Article or two, and if he is not on your Friends list, send him an Invite.  I am very glad that I did, and I think that you will be as well.  By the way, he also has a Birthday tomorrow, so what better way to wish him Happy Birthday?

I never really had thought about it before, but now that you mention it, it does look kinda like the perfect spot for Edith Ann, now doesn't it...

Of course, the Original "Big Chair", as you can see in this Photo from 1927...

was a work of fine Craftmanship, but obviously couldn't withstand the elements as well as the one we now have.

On the subject of "Big Furniture", High Point, NC, the town where I was born, lays claim to the "World's Largest Bureau"...

I'm so glad that you stopped by to visit Steven, and thanks for your kind words.  Now whenever I drive by the Big Chair, I'll be seeing little Edith Ann perched on top.  I've always been a big fan of Lily Tomlin, although "Ernestine", the telephone operator is still my favorite.

Thanks so much for stopping back by and Thanks for the Beautiful Picture.  As I mentioned to David earlier, I am as happy in the Woods as I am in the Mountains, so either way, it's Perfect.  "Woodsy" is a perfectly good word.  Matter of fact, seems I used to know an Owl by that name

Woodsy represented the US Forrest Service and was fond of saying, "Give a Hoot - Don't Pollute!".  Nowadays, he says, "Lend a Hand - Care for the Land!".  Either way, he's a Great Owl to know, and Wise as well.
