Hi Roger:

As Tim said, we need to hear what problems people are experiencing when it comes to BlogNet Awards.

Tim and I talked on that very thing, for many many hours...did we go for the keyword or the proper English...we opted for keywords and proper English...lol  If you will notice in the content itself our grammar and spelling has been triple checked...lol

You have mentioned that you wish that you could get into blogging...I have heard that from so many people and yet in a manner of speaking these forums are very much like a blog.  We put content in and through the replies...or comments, we have created a conversation.  That is in effect what a blog is...content...comments..creating relationships, conversations.

On Adland Itself you will see many forums on different topics, from health and wellnes, humor, music, poetry, etthics and so much more.  In effect one might say that yes this is a forum, but it is in a way a blog directory.  Here is another thought, because Adland is built on a Web 2.0 platform, what people write in indexed in Google...did you know that?

For example, I typed in the words Adland pro Jerky Direct:  this is what came up on the first page of Google:
http://community.adlandpro.com/forums/20948/ShowForum.aspx

Does this mean something...you bet it does!

The power of keywords working for you.

I hope that I have shed a little light for you Roger, given you the feeling that blogging is not such a scarey thing,  when you can relate to things you understand and relate to, then it does become much easier.

As to what Walt  said....here is a man who not that long ago, did not blog.  Like many people he was into the oh...going to write about all my opprotunities.  When we talked, Walt and myself, it was discovered that he loved sports..so that is the direction he has gone.   After a few short months he is page rank 2..or is that three...havent checked lately...oops

My point is..he is writing on something he loves and enjoys....now that he has good content on...we are going to start teaching him how to monetize...and create that income..but he will do it with fun..he will do it with a lot less pressure and it will succeed.

Does blogging work? you bet it does..with the right mind set!...us bloggers are a funny lot..but the relationships we build...the intence gratification of writing on what we love...sure makes the learning worth it.

oh before i forget..here is Walts Blog so you can see what i mean   All Sports on the Web

I wish you all the best and if we can help you at all, Tim and I will be here.  :-)

Hi Walt, Just wish I knew where to start. I have to do everything one step at a time as I have a degenerative memory problem with new information but my general recall is still good. I continue to be good at evaluation but not good at following instructions any more. I am really keen to start blogging. Tim says that I don't have to have a blog to enter contest. The only website I have is a poor one that presents my hypnotherapy practice www.beautiful-therapy.co.uk and I don't think I can use that. Roger

Diane, Thank you for your carefully thought out reply. I have taken the decision TODAY to purchase a new computer. A computer that does not drag along a stack of problems caused by the guy that built it. (I will spare you the whole story). I promise, as soon as I have a computer that can do more than one thing at a time without freezing I will take up blogging. I will spend the next short time in deciding what to blog about. Roger

Hi Roger

I can affirm and confirm that your web site is more than welcome to be used on BlogNet Awards.

When you go to the site...make sure you register  The reason for this is so that we can track nominations, comments and of course the votes.

Have some fun going through the different categories, all the blogs up there to date.  We have new nominations that after reviewing their blogs, we will be getting on the site.

make sure that you vote.  It is a star rating, all you have to do is click on how many stars  ( out of 5).

Make sure you leave a comment...as I said..just like in a forum, make it relevant to the blog that you have visited.

That is it...as simple as pie  :-)

You are not limited to the amount of blogs you can visit...vote or comment on...more the merrier..as it means more chances for you to win.

You do not have to have your own blog to vote and comment on.   In fact, You don't even have a blog to be able to  nominate.  If you have a favorite blog..one that you like..enjoy..then nominate it.  Make sure that when you nominate it...vote on it and comment.

If you  need help, I am at your disposal, just message me and we can talk further.

Just to give you a little hope and maybe inspiration, I have known people with different disablilites blog and become very kewl bloggers at that...so no worries.

To Your Success Roger

Diane

Hey Roger no worries you could talk about your hypnotherapy, could be fascinating for people to read and you could help steer people to your website. If you are having memory troubles take notes in word or notepad. Most of the articles I have written on sports are saved in word, so you can refer back if needed. Even Jot notes could help your thought process for putting posts together. Your writing is good and I think people would like to read what you have to say.
