Hi Thomas,

Thank you so much.  Everyone - especially me- needs to be reminded that the sabath day is a day of rest.  I do the best I can to give the day to Him, and if I do have something i must do, I make sure it is something I enjoy, like cooking or gardening, which isn't really work for me because I enjoy it so much.  Actually, it is a great way for me to be grateful for th talents He gave me.

Thanks again, my friend!

Judy

So nice of you guys to comment like you do, even Barbara! whom i haven't seen in awhile, its nice to see you again my friend, hope all is well. A reminder of my day of rest came to me when i was reading Isaiah 56 "Maintain justice and do what is right, for my salvation is close at hand (Rabbi Jesus) and my righteousness will soon be revealed (speaking of Son of Christ again) and in V.2 reads Blessed is the man (or woman) i wrote that' who holds fast, who keeps the sabbath (day of rest) without desecrating it,and keeps his hands from doing any evil." My days are short , i don't know about you but in these times the sabbath to me means everyday, everyday we must stop at one point and pray? or share our faith whatever that faith may be that you have but you all know first hand of mine and remember what God gave us in our lives, friends, family, love and joy, we should think of such things, and oh he did give us money too lol and so we as a people should think of such things. God_bless you my friends. :)

Thank You Brother Thomas

For reminding all of us that there is no problem so big that if we just have a mustard seed of faith and trust and believe, the Lord will lift those problems and burdens from us.

Just ask me and I will prove it to everyone. I am and so is my husband living proof of it!

Praise GOD From Whom ALL BLESSINGS FLOW!

Your Sister

Bev

Hi Thomas,

You and our btother, Jim Wright help to keep us all on our toes, and walking a walk that is pleasing to Jesus.

Thank you, so much.  I love the continuous reminders you throw out here in your forums, that the time we have here is short, and merely a stop on the way to greater opportunites in another life.  Studying the bible is not something I do well on my own.  I like my formal Bible studies that I attend.  Contemplating on my own is something I do, just not as well or as frequently as I should.  Between you and Jim, I seem to be getting there more frequently of late.

Check out Jim's latest forum on Living the Christian Life.
