Trina,
I have a program called E Verified that does that automatically. Every time I go to a site, it verifies the owner of the site.
The time is comming when this will be the normal procedure for all domains. This is being done to eliminate fraud sites. A person will be able to tell where the site is located and who the owner is.
The Whois is a good place to check, for instant I have the domain name moneypartners.net that I can use to direct to other sites when I need to. I do not have a web page but this is used mainly for emailing purposes. This way I can change my ISP and never have to change the email links in my advertisments.
All I have to do is have james@moneypartners.net redirected to which ever ISP I am using.
