Thank you for coming by and posting.  Yes, alot of things and prices have changed in the past40 years as well

Hi Sandy: I was born in 1949 and I remember having a party line telephone. Everytime mom would want to use the phone, she would have to wait until someone else finished talking. You could pick up the phone and always someone would be on the line. Also I remember that every Sunday we would go to my grandmothers and listen to her radio for great programs like The Shadow Knows and one about Fibber Magees Closet.

Later my Aunt and Uncle had the first television in the family and we would all go to their home and have fried chicken and watch wrestling or Jackie Gleason.

It's funny to me with all the advances in technology I believe that those days were much better and families were much closer then. I miss the Sunday get togethers very much.

Isn't it funny, just how much of a change we've gone through.  Our kids really don't understand or know the half of it.
