More Exposure more people possibly making a connection.  Facebook and mySpace do that as well. 

I guess the more important is the link back to your site/s and finding a different niche of folks interested in your wares and you. 

More real estate you claim the longer your tail and the wider your funnel brim.

I agree the more real estate the better - however one has to make sure you have a complete list of different tenants.

So many of the sites out there have many of the same people - LOL

Also - it takes time to fully manage more property so to be honest I'm filled beyond capacity already!
