Hello Thomas my friend,

This is so spot on, I applaud this post, and I know you have seen
my bio on the POTW forum.  That says it all for me.

How can people know you if you are not what you appear to be?
My preference is for 'what you see is what you get' with no side,
and the people that are like this are my friends for life.

God bless you,

Jen

Thomas, In my work as a therapist folk come to me with all manner of needs. I am privileged frequently to listen to people's most inner secrets and sometimes these are of an abhorent nature to them and to others, but, can you believe it, I learn to love these folk for their willingness to share, even if only with me. Sharing a problem is a compliment to the listener and we need to remember that we are not the ultimate judge. Life is great if you look for the good in all. Roger

Dear Thomas, my friend, thank you for this.  It needed to be said.

When we face each other daily in this cyberspace, we do not actually know each other.  We might accept a 'friendship' as genuine but when in actuality it is not.  You know who your friends are when you are in need and they actually response with positive and encouraging comments.  When a person is condemned by a so called 'friend' even when they ask for help, it is pretty evident this person is not a true friend.  So we move on, trusting in the one True God and knowing that He knows our hearts even if others don't.

I cannot quote scripture but all of you know...

"He who is without blame, cast the first stone..."

Let us treat others as our brothers(sisters) and "Do unto others as you would have them do unto you."

It saddens me that someone would be so harsh as to criticize a person like you, but as I have also been attacked, as well as others, we just have to cling to the knowledge that 'God is in charge and He knows our hearts".

My best to you friend and if in anyway, I have been one of those to offend you, please forgive.  You are very special to me.

Blessings,

Sara

He who is without blame, cast the first stone.  This is in John 8:7b it reads "if any one of you is without sin, let him be the first to throw a stone at her." or him i said that lol. Let us treat others as our brothers(sisters) and "Do unto others as you would have them do unto you."   this one is from Matthew , you had the wording from the old Testiment but heres what my Rabbi  says  in Matthew 5:39 But I tell you, Do not resist an evil person. If someone strikes you on the right cheek, turn to him the other also.
