Hi Brother James,
Lovely to see you here! Hope you and your family are doing well.
You are so right here in what you have said.
I like the story of when Jesus went to the mount of Olives to teach and the people brought an adulterous woman to him and asked him what he thought they should do with her. Should they stone her according to what Moses law commanded? Jesus was writing with his finger on the ground but when they continued to ask him, he lifted himself up and said "He that is without sin among you, let him first cast a stone at her." John 8:7 Of course everyone of them left. Then he asked the woman "Woman, were are those thine accusers? Has no man condemed thee?" John 8:10 She said, No man, Lord. And Jesus said to her "Neither do I condemn thee: go, and sin no more." John 8:11
Even the Lord's Prayer says "Forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us."
Some of Jesus final words were "Father, forgive them; for they know not what they do" Luke 23:34
So thank you Father for sending your only begotten son to wash away our sins. I am washed in the blood and grateful!!
God Bless! Marion
