Hi and thanks for the info, It isnt just email that will steal your password. The scripts they have now can do it from a banner on someones website! This happens when people use banner rotations from people who do not screen their stuff. BUT no matter how hard the site owner checks , you still have those who are intent on corrupting the balance of things by changing their banners once they are accepted. A virus is a good description of the scripts that we call virus's.LOL They do not have to be big or even in some foreign computer language to take down or manipulate and account , computor or website. I think the law can do more about these problems. AOL seems only to want to punish the victim in most cases so they can say they are stopping spam......... They condemn first and then try reason in most instances like you had happen. The whole thing reminds me of the drug problem during the Ollie NOrth years......... We had dozens of slow moving fishing boats regularly hauling dope from south america ............. Until Ollie went down........LOL My point is that the government always told us that they could see you scratch your tail from a space satalite, but couldnt see these 100' boats with pallets of pot on their decks.... UNTIL someone wanted to see. Same goes for all these virus senders and male enlargement advertisements..... I often wonder why PayPal hasn't busted a few of the frauds? Sorry for rambling, Mike

Wow, what a story! you old spamer you!LOL I don't have AOL and now I glad I don't. But we all need to be careful and I realy did not know they could get the password that easy. I am glad you got it fixed. and changing passwords is a good ideal to. I know on my web server they have a system set up so you can not uses simple passwords like: Birdnest, apple, green, 900001, They make you choose leters not words. it would look more like Z43eH755yy2p Also remember to write you paswords down and keep them in a safe place not on your computer. The more nubmers caps and lower case you uses the harder it is fr hackers to break in also. Six charters is good -nine is better 12 is even better. the longer the password the more combonations a hacker will have to run to find yours. the harder you make it on them the less like to be a target. There to many pepople that does not take this serious enought so they make better targets for spamers , ID theft. Never keep banking info. in any computer in your home that is connected on line. This is a little far fetched it would happen, but I wanted you know they have the techenical ability to set 2 blockes away from you home and read every thing your reading on your screen. Mainly police and government agency us this in sulvalance. But it is out there and if it is out there it can and will someday fall into the wrong hands. So be careful. God Bless You Brother Yada
