When I was a teenager my dad had an opportunity to invest in a restaurant business that wanted to expand. I very clearly remember his answer : " who in their right mind would invest in a cheap hamburger restaurant ? ".  That restaurant was named McDonald's. Most people can't afford a McDonald's franchise today.

In the 80's I started a Cell Phone Accessory business. This was the very beginning of the Cell Phone ERA in Chicago. It was very successful. But, I wouldn't advise starting a Cell Phone Accessory business today - TIMING !
