If you are not watching your calories, this recipe sounds yummy!

Lyns Texas Sheet Cake

moist chocolate cake , Not low calorie, but DELICIOUS!

Ingredients

2 cups flour
2 cups sugar
1 cup light sour cream
2 eggs
1 TBLS. of soda
1 TBLS. vanilla
pinch of salt
3 sticks butter
4 TBLS. cocoa
1 cup water
4 tsp. cocoa
6 tsp. milk
2 cups powdered sugar

Directions

in a large bowl mix , flour, sugar, sour cream, eggs, soda, vanilla and salt.
In a sauce pan bring to boil,
2 sticks butter
4TBLS. cocoa
1 cup water
Add contents of sauce pan to bowl mixture
Bake on 10-15 jelly roll pan for 20 minutes at 375

Frosting, in a sauce pan bring to boil,
1 stick butter
4 tsp. cocoa
6 tsp. milk
bring to boil and beat in 2 cups powdered sugar
spread on warm cake

	Hello Donna, I have never made a Texas Sheetcake, but now I will have to try this one. The icing sounds better. I like the dark chocolate, and cocoa gives that to me. Thanks for all you great recipes. Myrna
