Hi Tom, thankyou for being such a thoughtful friend.
Thanks so much for your kind thoughts and prayers and messages.
I am able to sit up at my computer for longer now, can't type well
using left hand
- my right wrist was broken badly, left wrist only hairline, so more mobile.
My back
is much better, was excruciating for two weeks as I did not know where
to put
myself - hurt to stand for long, walk and sit.. Couldn't turn over in bed so sleeping in bed was too
painful so caught catnaps in the lazy boy chair. - Bruises nearly all faded and
I had plenty of them. (photos are still in the camera!) I learned after being dumped by our new horse Tazman -who never bucked,
kicked etc and had been ridden on 300 trial rides by trainer that he had not been
taught to ride
bareback or even like rider to take their feet out of the stirrups. He
was going
to do this in a round pen!!! A vital piece of information to be
forgotten eh!!!?
I am such a safety nut, that I do not take unecessary risks especially
on my own.
I was very angry when this trainer wrote to James and also said that
James and I
did not know what we were doing. This horse has been a big distruption to our well behaved mares, and has not been a good fit, killed two chickens, broken down the stall, pulled back from being tied and broken pole then galloped around the paddock madly with pole still attached herding our two mares in his frenzy - and very hard to catch so has a long lead on him. He is up for sale but so far no firm bites..
Glad that James has care given for years as I still need help getting
in and out
of the bath and dressing.
Most housework chores etc are too difficult, so my house is big mess.
We had new carpet laid in our lounge 10 days ago, James spent all day
Saturday and half of the night putting up ceiling drywall in the lounge
- has
two small panels to finish then mud/polyfill the joins and screw holes
before
it is painted.
Monday we had all new windows installed downstairs, they still have to
finish the outside - it stormed again so they had to stop working.
Suppose
to be finishing the job on Friday. Already the house is cooler with
double
panes as temps are in 80s and low 90s. Winter will be so much warmer
too!
Especially once we have the wood stove installed.. yeah
Love to all Amanda
