"And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband” (Rev. 21:2 ). “The heavens declare the glory of the Lord, the skies proclaim the work of His hands” (Ps. 19:1). Revelation 21:4 says, "And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away."
Heaven is almost indescribable. It is very hard to imagine having no pain, no fear, no worry, no financial strain, no jealousy, no temptation, or no war. In the moment when the believer is transformed from physical life to eternal life, all of life’s burden will melt away. Heaven is uncontainable joy, unending peace, love, beauty, worship, and safety. Furthermore, I cannot imagine the reunion that we will experience as we are rejoined with those who have gone before us. But, the biggest prize is that the presence of God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit will be with us for all eternity. The alternative to Heaven is exactly opposite to all that is described above. The anguish of eternal suffering and to be eternally out of the presence of God is terrifying.
In Revelation 21, the apostle John wrote about his miraculous vision of heaven, and described it as being a city of "pure gold" (21:18)
Trust God for eternal life in heaven, "For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life" (John 3:16).
From what I can understand from reading the Bible, the 144,000 will have the Father's Name written on their forehead and will be the first to go to heaven. The people with the evil creatures name on their forehead will be distroyed. The souls of the ones beheaded for their testimony about Jesus, for proclaiming the Word of God and had not worshiped the Creature nor accepted the mark of the Creature on their foreheads or hands will come back to life again and be with Christ. This is the First Resurrection. The rest of the dead will not come to life until the thousand years has ended. Satan will be bound in chains for 1,000 years and then let go for a short time and then be thrown into a Lake of Fire to be tormented forever. Then all the remaining dead are to be judged. The Books including the Book of Life will be opened and the dead judged by the deeds they had done. Anyone whose name is not found in the Book of Life will suffer a second death and will be thrown in the Lake of Fire to be with Satan forever. The ones that are in the Book of Life will get to enjoy the new earth and will be able to live with God in peace forever.
God Bless!
