This organism regulates all the companies that offer securities to the public (i.e. guaranteed returns and such). Similar organisms exist in other countries of course... And any "company" that offers an online money-making opportunity is supposed to be registered with them. Otherwise it is either a scam, or simply an illegal activity that is likely to be closed at some point, the funds frozen and so on... I'm sure you've already heard of, or even experienced that kind of painful event. Legal opportunities are rare... But do exist. It's not something that will work without any effort on your side. But it's real, legal, and you will even be able to verify this on the official SEC site where a certificate is available to prove that this company has filled a registration. Ask yourself: do you want to try working with one of those "companies" that offer millions but do not deliver? Or do you want to give a try at an offer that comes from a real company, one that follows the rules? You decide. JC.
