I have a special request. I have a friend who's husband has been severly wounded and burned over in Afghanistan.

I got a phone call tonight at 9:45 from a Major asking me to verify my identity. Then he proceeded to inform me that Jim was wounded and burned. They moved him to a hospital but couldn't give me any other information. They are hoping to have more information for me by morning but said it could take between 12 and 24 hours to get any real information. I don't know what % of burns he has, where or what kind of wounds, or what hospital he was transported to. As soon as I know something I'll let you know.

Ok Still have yet to hear from his RDO, but I have gotten a half dozen calls from another unit that's not 10 minutes from his and it's true. After 13 hours of notification of the initial injury I now know he's got 2nd degree burns to his face, hands and legs, he's incubated and has an A line in his wrist. He's stable and is being transported to Germany, then to Ft Sam Houston. It's not a scam apparently this is how they are notifying families now. The important thing is that he's stable! Longest night of my life, I didn't sleep more than a half hour all night long. I was given a phone number to call for each shift to get updates on his condition and they said they will call me periodically to let me know how he's doing, where he's located and when he's moved. The worst part is there were 4 soldiers involved, my husband, 1 who perished in the incident and 2 others. And it's all over the news about the soldier who died, I can't get any information about the other 2 soldier's as of yet. Thank you all for your prayers! I'll keep you all posted as I find things out!

The last email which I can not fidn said he was moved out of icu to a regular burn center room. His entire body is covered in bandages except for his face which also has 2nd & 3rd degree burns on it.
Here is what I want to do and where I need your help. Any purchases made from any of my companies between now and June 30th I will donate my entire commission to Molly and her family. They are going to need this help very soon.
We cant send flowers to the hospital but there is one thing we can do to show Jim there are people out here praying for him and his recovery. I challenge each and every one of the people on this mailing list to send a card, postcard or letter to Jim. This will be a great way for them to break up there day and have something to look forward to. Here is the address for the hospital:
