This is a post from My website, and also send to my subscribers of my Quote page. It comes at a time where the importance of family really came home to me. I hope you are inspired as well. Nick

"The fact is, there is no foundation, no secure ground, upon which people may stand today if it isn't the family. It's become quite clear to me as I've been sick. If you don't have the support and love and caring and concern that you get from family, you don't have much at all. Love is so supremely important. As our great poet Auden said, 'Love each other or perish.'"

The quote made so much sense to me this week, as I sat in a hospital room with my three sisters, their husbands and other family friends with my very sick mother.
We were there to support each other and to give Mum the kind of care only a family can give.
Sitting there amid the laughter and tears, one gets a very personal sense of what is important in life, and all other concerns slip to the wayside.
I hear people say "family is the most important," as they rush around accumulating all the material things their family needs. "My kids won't go without anything", they say as they rush off to get this or that.
Yet what is most urgently needed is what is right there, always there, no distance away, a thing called Love.
Call a family member today and say hi.

WELCOME BACK! The love of family is all important, I wholeheartedly agree. It doesn't matter what you have as long asyou have unconditional love, and I've always had that from my family so I am truly blessed.Wishing you a Milagro day,
