How The Streamline Funnel System Really Works
Description:
It's been over over 3 weeks since Paul Birdsall has launched his newest
lead generation system - The Streamline Funnel System - there has been
tons of controversy over it. I hope to be able to clear some of the
myths and grumblings by revealing how the Streamline Funnel System
really works.
Just barely 4 weeks into soft-launch Paul Birdsall's new lead
generation tool, The Streamline Funnel System, has garnered all sorts
of responses of controversy. Some are grumbling of being mislead and
deceived, that was due to technical issues with the amount of people
joining and the Merchant bank, while others have seen a light of hope
and are now seeing the rewards and gaining sign-ups and generous
commissions.
From the get-go SFS has been promoted in pre-launch for about 3 months
or so. Nearly 38,000 people joined the system during this pre-launch
phase with the promise of getting a spot in a brand new lead generation
system that would work for you by providing each member with 10,000
unique leads that the streamline funnel system would market to
automatically for members.
http://www.streamlinefunnelsystem.com/?id=11491
Sounds like a network marketer's dream doesn't it? A truly automated
system that would market for you and all you had to do was buy the
leads. Well in actuality thats only part of the story and thus the
beginnings of the grumblings and controversy.
Make no mistake about it everyone was told that there was a $9.97
upgrade fee to be paid, but that was all that we were told. Yes, we
were told that there would be optional other leads packages we "could"
purchase from the initial website we visited.
What we weren't told was that there was an additional $39.95 per month
fee to get the 10,000 leads we were promised, and that we only had 3
days to decide if we wanted to pay this additional fee.
The second kicker was that we find out that these 10,000 leads are
shared by in a rotation with 24 other members meaning that out of the
10,000 leads you really only end up with 400 yourself.
Third we find out that we cannot market our own program/system URLs to
these leads, but rather that The Streamline Funnel System would market
our SFS referral URL to these leads. This in an effort to hopefully
build our downlines in SFS with upgraded and paying members.
So there you have the basis for the grumblings and misgivings of
controversy for Paul Birdsall's new prodigy in automated web 3.0 lead
generation. But there's more to the story and actually a brighter side,
one that I hope anyone who is really serious about marketing online
will realize. People are realizing this is a great system that is
working

First lets look at the name of the system: The Streamline Funnel System...
Just the name in itself should be a good clue as to what this new lead
generation system/tool is all about. Streamline (IE, automated, and
efficient) Funnel (IE, the opening to a down-spout, the beginning)
System (IE, preplanned and calculated). In other words The Streamline
Funnel System is a "funded proposal system."
For those not familiar with the term Funded Proposal System here is a
brief description to help you understand. A funded proposal system is a
way of gathering a small income to help pay for your advertising costs
by offering prospects (website visitors) something of value for a small
cost. Besides the benefit of helping to pay your advertising costs
another great benefit of a funded proposal system is that it
pre-qualifies your prospects as paying customers.
In other words it weeds out the freebie-seekers and lookie-Lu's from
the serious and willing to investing in an online, or even offline
business. That in essence is what the $9.97 upgrade fee to streamline
funnel system is all about a weeding out, or separating the wheat from
the chafe as the Bible would so aptly put it.
Once a member has paid the upgrade fee you will see them in your back
office at SFS with their contact details. Thus you now know you indeed
have an active lead you could contact about your other network
marketing programs or systems. Also another little secret I'll let you
in on: everyone gets $9 of this upgrade fee back immediately. Paul
passes it off as you've made a sale and earned a commission, but in
reality his system just immediately rebates $9 of your upgrade fee back
to you.
The Initial 10k Lead Package
OK, that out of the way lets look at the other parts of the streamline
funnel system, specifically the 10,000 leads and additional lead
packages. The $9.97 upgrade fee is a one time purchase, but the 10k
leads package is a monthly subscription of $39.95.
For this monthly subscription SFS will put your streamline funnel
system referral URL into a pool with 24 other upgraded members and send
out an email to 10,000 people who have visited the SFS website and
filled out the form that they are interested in getting more
information.
So out of these 10,000 emails your referral URL is sent out in 400 of them.
Optional - Additional Lead Packages
Now you can purchase additional lead packages that cost from $99 for
10,000 leads, $190 for 20,000 leads, and up to $370 for 40,000 leads.
But these lead packages are handled differently than the regular
subscriber 10k lead package. These additional lead packages will ALL
contain your SFS referral URL and no one else's. Thus giving you a much
higher chance of securing an active prospect to the streamline funnel
system.

The Conversion Rate (or reality of email marketing)
Traditionally in any email marketing these days a response rate of 0.5%
to 3% is the normal success rate. In other words, out of 1000 emails
sent anywhere from 5 to 15 people will actually read and click the URL
in the email to further investigate the offering. Of course this is
affected by how well written the email's subject line and content is.
Also the delivery rate of the email plays a major role in the email
campaign's success.
The fact is that a HUGE percentage of emails in an email campaign never
even reach the intended recipient's email box due to todays stringent
SPAM filtering and whitelisting rules of email servers.
Part of the "Web 3.0" side of things with The Streamline Funnel System
is that Paul has come up with a way of "auto-whitelisting" his email
servers address and return email address with the recipient's ISP email
server. Now whether this is true or not is yet another controversy
spawned by SFS, but Paul claims that he is seeing a whopping 95%
deliverable rate for the emails his servers send out.
This has turned out to be true as Paul really has broken new ground
with lead generation and email marketing, take into account even the
best autoresponder services such as Aweber and GetResponse struggle to
maintain a high deliverable rate such as this.
But anyway, back to what you can expect as far as results from these
email campaigns. Paul claims he is seeing a 2% to 10% response rate and
a 21.7% conversion rate from the respondees. So for the initial
subscriber 10k package one would see, using the lowest 2% response
rate, 8 people to take action and click the URL in the email (remember
your referral URL was only in 400 of this lead package email mailout).
Out of those 8 one would see, using Paul's quote of 21% conversion
rate, at best 2 or 3 people to actually pay the upgrade fee of $9.97
and possibly 1 or 2 of them going further and subscribing to and or
purchasing a lead package.
However out of a purchase of say the additional 10k lead package one
would see 200 people take action and click the referral URL and up to
40 decide to go further and join. So you can clearly see where
investing and additional $99 would be extremely beneficial to anyone
serious about giving SFS a full trial run.

The Compensation Plan
This is the part that most everyone is enamored on, and really the part
that seems to make most people ignore the real value of The Streamline
Funnel System as a true funded proposal system.
So basically here it is:
You get $15 commission for anyone you personally sponsor into SFS or
that signs up and upgrades through your referral URL in any of the
emails sent out by the system.
You get $15 residual (monthly) commissions out of the monthly
subscriber package should one of your upgraded members decide to stay
on with the system and subscribe.
You also get 50% of the purchase price of any sale of an additional
lead package. So in essence you COULD make $50, $85, or even $190
additional should one of your downline purchase a lead package.
Conclusion
As you can see even if all you did was make the initial $15 commissions
this becomes an excellent funded proposal system for your one-time
$9.97 upgrade fee. Of course if you go this route YOU will have to do
your own promoting of your referral URL yourself.
A serious marketer however should give the system a full trial by
investing in at least the monthly 10k subscription and if possible an
additional lead package.
Personally I made a great deal of money with Paul's previous funded
proposal system Free Leads 4 Life. I do not see why this system should
be any different in generating pre-qualified and active leads.
Streamline Funnel System is an effective and efficient system. It just
needs a little more time to get fully honed as a polished funded
proposal system.
So if you're looking for a new and possibly great funded proposal system you owe it to yourself to check out SFS.
