Hi, I'm Steve from bonny Scotland in the UK.
I was born in Paisley, Scotland which makes me a Paisley "Buddy".
My background is in engineering, at 16, I was an apprentice Mechanical Fitter based at one of Scotland's Nuclear Power Stations, Hunterston. When my apprenticship finished I started applying for jobs within the same company outside of the Power Station as I hated it, it was just like going into a large factory every day once you were in the gates.
I worked for the Electricity Company for 20 years in various roles, mechanical fitter, electrical fitter, estimator, foreman and tree cutting co-ordinator when I decided I wanted to do something else with my life.
I turned to Sales, in particular direct sales. I've sold everything from healthcare insurance, timeshare, double glazing and even block paving. I decided my talents where still not being used to their full potential. Although, you are self employed with most direct sales companies, you really aren't, because you still have a boss. The real only difference is you pay your own taxes and National Insurance.
So I started looking at ways to be my own boss and work for myself online.
