I just love quotes!! They help break the ice when speaking to an audience, and they create a moment for the audience to ponder about the meaning and helps to break the ice to encourage conversation.

I always use my quotes to focus in on what I am about to engage in with my audiences.  They also help to leave a lasting impression for each individual.

 My husband, Lynn and I live in San Antonio, Texas(home of the fabulous Spurs)where we are enjoying life!

I am recently retired, after spending 38 years in education working with special needs children.  I was in  educational administration during my last 10 years with a very large school district here in San Antonio. My primary role was to help build teacher, administrator and staff capacity.  I am now an independent educational consultant for the surrounding school districts in SA.  The focus of my support is providing professional development for teachers, administrators, and staff in the areas of  differentiated instruction, student engagement, leadership and accountability in special education.

 Lynn is a retired Lt. Colonel from the U.S. Airforce and currently works as a business architecht/processing engineer at the world known USAA Headquarters here in San Antonio, Texas.

 I have always been attracted to the MLM philosophy, because I have spent 38 years as a professional who trains others how to become better at what they do. I often expressed to all my students and the teachers I trained, that you don't have to be bad to get better! 

 After spending my entire career teaching students with unique disabilities, I realized that helping others reach their dreams or goals would be my life's calling.
